A Quiet Series
Project type
digital art
Date
November 2025
The Quiet Series drifts through a world where the line between human and animal blurs into something mythic. Each piece features an anthropomorphic woman — part human, part creature — standing in misted landscapes where silence feels alive. Storm-blue hours, pale branches, deep greens, and softened light create a place where inner life and outer world mirror each other.
Some of the women face the viewer directly, offering a steady, unguarded presence; others turn slightly away, caught in private thought — but none turn their backs. Whether they carry the features of a fox, owl, squirrel, cat, or other wild spirit, their bodies and postures remain unmistakably human. This blend of forms doesn’t caricature them; it reveals something essential. Their animal traits feel like emotional truth made visible: intuition, alertness, tenderness, resilience, mystery.
Their quiet is intentional — a grounding pause, a breath before choosing what comes next. They inhabit their stillness the way animals do: entirely, instinctively, without apology. The landscapes around them hold that same energy, as if the world is tuned to their frequency.
The Quiet Series is about liminality, identity, and the sanctuary of a moment held in calm. It invites the viewer into a hush where creature and woman coexist, where silence becomes clarity, and where the wild inner self steps softly into the light.
Here, quiet is not absence.
It is present: keen, gentle, and intensely alive.
